We understand how overwhelming it can be to face a legal issue—whether it’s a family law concern, planning your estate, or managing a small business matter. You may know you need legal help, but you don’t want to pay for more than you actually need.

Unbundled legal services from The Law Shop Minnesota let you customize your legal support—whether that’s help with a specific task while you represent yourself, guidance with estate planning, small business matters, divorce mediation, Collaborative divorce, or other out-of-court services.

Here’s how to get started with our limited scope representation.

  • Step 1 – Conflicts Check – We perform a check for conflicts of interest to ensure that we have not represented anyone with interests that are adverse to yours.
  • Step 2 – If there are no conflicts of interest, the next step is for you to complete a Shop Evaluation application so we can determine whether we can help with your particular legal issues.
  • Step 3 – Schedule an Appointment – Schedule an appointment to sit down and talk with a TLSMN attorney about your legal matter and evaluate the level of attorney support you will need.

Getting started is easy: just complete the brief form below.

TLSMN will run a conflicts check within two business days from the date you submit the form. Following the submission of your form, we recommend monitoring your spam folder for a response email from The Law Shop MN. If we identify a conflict that prevents us from representing you, we will do our best to refer you to another capable law firm that can serve you. If we don’t identify a conflict, we will promptly advise you how to move forward with submitting your Shop Evaluation application. There is a nominal fee of $250 for your Shop Evaluation that is due before your appointment. Come to your appointment with questions; leave with valuable information and a plan customized to your unique needs.
